HEDP (hydroxyethylenediphosphonic acid) is a kind of organic phosphonic acid scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, which can form stable complexes with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions, and can dissolve oxides on the metal surface. It can still play a good corrosion and scale inhibition effect at 250℃, and is still very stable at high pH, not easy to hydrolysis, and not easy to decompose under general photothermal conditions. Acid and alkali resistance, chlorine oxidation resistance is better than other organic phosphonic acid (salt). It can form six ring chelates with metal ions in water, especially calcium ions, so it has a good scale inhibition effect and an obvious solution-limiting effect. When combined with other water treatment agents, it shows an ideal synergistic effect.
HEDP solid is a high purity product, which is suitable for cold regions in winter. It is especially suitable for cleaning agents and daily chemical additives in the electronics industry.
HEDP is widely used in power, chemical, metallurgy, fertilizer and other industrial circulating cooling water system, medium and low pressure boiler, oil field water injection and oil pipeline scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition. In the light textile industry, it can be used as a cleaning agent for metals and non-metals, a peroxide stabilizer and a color fixing agent for the bleaching industry, a complexing agent for the cyanide-free electroplating industry, and a carrier for radioactive elements in the pharmaceutical industry.

3. Use method
HEDP (hydroxyethylenediphosphonic acid) is generally used as a scale inhibitor with a concentration of 1-10mg /L, and is generally used as a corrosion inhibitor with a concentration of 10-50mg/L. Generally used as a cleaning agent concentration 1000 ~ 2000mg/L; It is usually used in combination with polycarboxylic acid scale inhibitor and dispersant. When used in other industries, the dosage should be determined according to the test.

4. Packaging and storage
HEDP liquids are packaged in plastic drums, 25kg or 250kg per barrel, or according to user requirements.
